PRIVACY POLICY

Atlantic Group USA (“Atlantic,” “we,” “us,” or “our”)

1. SCOPE 

This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about visitors and customers (“you”) of www.atlanticmove.com and any related mobile sites or applications (the “Services”). It applies to all U.S. residents, with additional CCPA rights described in Section 9.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT  

A. Information you give us  

  • Name, postal address, phone number, e-mail address, move dates, origin/destination addresses, inventory lists, payment card details, feedback, reviews.  

B. Information we collect automatically  

  • Device identifiers (IP address, browser type, OS, unique device IDs).  

  • Usage data (pages viewed, time on site, click-stream, referring URL).  

  • Geolocation data (state/zip derived from IP; precise GPS only if you opt-in on a mobile device).  

  • Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5).  

C. Information from third parties  

  • Service partners (survey platforms, payment processors, lead providers) that help us schedule or fulfill your move. 

3. HOW WE USE THE INFORMATION  
  • Provide quotes, schedule, and perform moving services.  

  • Process payments and send service-related communications (confirmations, invoices, updates).  

  • mprove and personalize the Services, debug errors, perform analytics.  

  • Detect and prevent fraud or security incidents.  

  • Respond to lawful requests by public authorities.  

  • Market our own services (you may opt out any time).  

WE DO NOT SELL YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.  

DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION 

We share information only as described or as reasonably necessary to operate the Services:  

  • Service providers (hosting, payment processing, e-mail delivery, analytics, customer support).  

  • Affiliated entities within the Atlantic corporate family.  

  • Insurance carriers or claims adjusters when required for coverage or loss resolution.  

  • Law-enforcement or government agencies when legally required.  

  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets (your information remains subject to this Policy unless you consent otherwise).  

5. COOKIES & TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES  

We use first-party and third-party cookies and pixels to:  ​​

  • Keep you signed in and maintain session state.  

  • Understand usage and improve functionality.  

  • Measure the effectiveness of our marketing e-mails.

  • Most browsers accept cookies by default. You can set yours to refuse or delete them; doing so may impair some features. For mobile apps, use your device settings to control ads and location.  

6. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY  

The Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have done so, contact us and we will promptly delete it.

7. DATA RETENTION & SECURITY 

We retain data only as long as needed to fulfill the purposes above or to meet legal, accounting, and insurance requirements. We use industry-standard physical, technical, and administrative safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, secure data centers). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our site may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please review their policies before submitting any information.

9. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS (CCPA)  

If you are a California resident, the CCPA grants you:  
a. Right to Know – twice in a 12-month period you may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, used, or disclosed.  
b. Right to Delete – you may request that we delete personal information we collected from you, subject to certain business exceptions.  
c. Right to Opt-Out of Sale – we do not sell personal information (as “sell” is defined in the CCPA).  
d. Right to Non-Discrimination – we will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service for exercising CCPA rights.

We will verify your identity by matching at least two data points you provide with information in our records. You may also designate an authorized agent by providing written permission.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” and, for material changes, notify you via e-mail or prominent notice on the Services.
